Cooking home baked goods brings a completely different kind of joy, whether it being a special occasion or just a small family get together. Here are 5 simple desserts that you can try, which are easy to put together and simple to master.
Oreo cheesecake
Ingridents:
20 oreo cookies
8oz soft cream cheese
16oz chocolate chip cookie dough
½ c. granulated sugar
2 large eggs
½ tsp. Vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Method:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F , with your baking tray and parchment paper.
Press cookie dough to the bottom of the baking dish, and top it with a single layer of Oreos.
Make the cheesecake layer, beating the cream cheese until smooth. Beat in sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. (hand mixer)
Pour over the oreo layer on the baking tray.
Top with Oreos, then bake for 30 minutes.
Refrigerate until completely chilled (at least 3 hours)
Oreo Truffles
Ingridents:
14oz Oreos
For (Pinterest) perfect nails
8oz soft cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla extract
2c. Which choco chips, melted
2tsbp. Coconut oil
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
Method:
Crush the cookies into fine crumbs (grinder)
Add two tablespoons of the cookie crumbs, add cream cheese and vanilla and stir until evenly combined.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Roll the cookies into small balls, then freeze until slightly hardened.
Then, melt the white chocolate and coconut oil together.
Dip the frozen balls into the mixture, until coated and freeze again until the chocolate hardens.
Brownie Lasagna
Ingidents:
2 boxes brownie mix, and the ingredients needed for the box
8oz soft cream cheese
4c powdered sugar
2tsp. Vanilla extract
¼ tsp. Salt
2c chocolate chips
1c heavy cream
¼ chocolate shavings
Method:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, lining it with parchment paper and a layer of cooking spray.
Bake the brownie according to the package directions, and let it cool completely. Make sure the cooking tray is bigger length wise.
Separately, make a cream cheese layer. Use a hand mixer to beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract and salt until smooth. (add slowly, ingredient by ingredient)
Separately, make the ganache. Place chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan with heavy cream bringing it to a boil. Pour the cream over chocolate chips, and whisk until well combined and smooth.
Remove the brownie from the pan, and cut in width wise in four thin layers.
Then, place one brownie on a platter and add a layer of ganache. Add about ⅓ of cream cheese filling then another layer of the brownie. Repeat until the top layer is a brownie with ganache.
Refrigerate until well chilled
Add chocolate shavings before serving
Chocolate chip cookies
Ingridents:
2 3/4 c all purpose flour
1tsp baking soda
¾ tsp salt
1c butter, cold, cut into cubes
1c packed dark brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2tsp vanilla extract
2c chocolate chips
Method:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl, mix the butter, sugar. Add eggs one at a time, and add vanilla until well combined. Then slowly add dry ingredients and mix until combined. Then with a spatula, carefully fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop out dough, around 2 inches and put it on the prepped pans.
Bakke for about 15 minutes, unil golden and edges are set.
Cookie pops
Ingridents:
Cookie dough
Sprinkle, chocolate chips, any decor you would like.
Method:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and baking sheets with parchment paper
Scoop a tablespoon of dough, and roll it into a small ball.
Roll the cooking dough balls, add a popsicle stick through the center and decorate it.
Then, bake for 15 minutes.
The cookies will flatten as they bake
Cool, before serving.
