4th International Dhaka Topi Day celebrated in Japan

TOKYO, Jan 1: The 4th International Dhaka Topi Day was celebrated in Japan on Sunday.
 
A program was organized by Men’s Room Reloaded (MRR) in Shin-Okubo, Japan with a slogan ‘‘Let’s introduce Dhaka Topi worldwide as an indication of the nation and nationality.’’ 

In the program, Japanese citizens along with Nepalis living in Japan were present where they discussed Dhaka Topi and Nepali nationality. 

Jigyan Kumar Thapa, who had been playing a significant role in strengthening Nepal-Japan relation, Japanese citizen Haruhito Noju, who has completed a masters degree in Nepali language and who loves Nepal and Nepalis, Arun Puri, social worker and young businessman, Pushkar Jung Thapa , social personality Saroj Kumar Khatri along with doctor Bijay Gyawali spoke at the function.

 ‘‘We celebrated Dhaka Topi Day with an aim of enhancing harmony and brotherhood between non-resident Nepalis, active members of MRR,” said Samir Dev Khanal , ‘‘We have fathomless love for our country even though we have migrated from Nepal.’’
