Missing man found dead

PALPA, Sept 14: A body was found near garbage disposal area of Tansen United Mission Hospital. Sunil Chhetri, 39, of Tansen municipality, Mission Tole, was found dead, 100 meters ahead of the hospital premises on Friday morning.

The deceased Chhetri was working as a sweeper at the Tansen United Mission Hospital for the past six years.

“He might have consumed alcohol and have fallen down off the Mission road,” said SP Bishwamani Pokharel, Palpa adding further that his clothes were all torn. SP Pokharel also said that the body will be taken for postmortem.

“He was off to home after completing his night duty on August 26, however, he was not present for his duties on August 27,” said Ganesh Ghimire, Duty Incharge, Mission Hospital.

The deceased Chettri’s father and brother had recognized the body. Chettri was involved in alcohol consumption, locals added.
