KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Co-chair of Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal made efforts to lure Indian investors to invest in Nepal as he inaugurated the Indo-Nepal Center in New Delhi.
Speaking to representatives, Dahal said Nepal had favorable environment of investment and the country guaranteed profit. He added that do encourage foreign investments, the government was making amending ‘traditional policies’.
Dahal said that the government would leave no stones unturned to ensure economic prosperity. “Nepal is rich naturally. There’s high probability of hydropower,” he said adding that the government was willing to collaborate with Indian investors in the sector.
Dahal also highlighted additional avenues of investments, agricultural industries, and religious tourism among others. Dahal is scheduled to pay a courtesy call to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
