9th EPG meeting begins

KATHMANDU, June 29: The ninth meeting of the Eminent Persons Group (EPG) is being held in Kathmandu.

EPG members from Nepal include Dr Bhekh Bahadur Thapa, Nilambar Acharya, Suryanath Upadhyay and Dr. Rajan Bhattarai. Similarly, members from India include Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Mahendra P Lama, Jayanta Prasad and Dr. BC Upreti.

To remove the confusions regarding 1950 treaty, this meeting seems to hold a important role.

The first meeting of EPG was held on July 5-6, 2016.
