KATHMANDU, June 23: Differing details of foreign employment prompted the Tribhuvan International Airport’s foreign employment department to send five migrating women back to their homes.

According to the department’s information officer, Uddhab Rijal, the women, en route to Kuwait had a mismatch in their visa and labor permit documents.

“The first readings of their documents made the department employees realize that they’d need to be rescued once they reach their destinations,” Rijal said.

"Baibhav" Manpower Company had processed their visa and labor permit papers. As per their visa, they were to work as receptionists. However, the labor permit mentioned that they’d work as cleaners. RSS
