BUTWAL, June 1: A landslide triggered by incessant rainfall near Siddhababa, Palpa of the Siddhartha highway has blocked transportation from early morning hours.
People are in verse of trying to remove the landslide debris, informed Western Regional Traffic Police Office, Butwal. It is further said that it will be taking few more hours to clear the debris as large stones are still falling down to the road section.
The obstruction has created a long line of vehicles en route to Kathmandu, Palpa, Gulmi, Arghakhanchi, Syangja, Baglung and Pokhara and vice versa.
