Woman found dead in hotel

NUWAKOT, May 28: A woman has been found dead in a hotel based in Suryachaur of Shivapuri rural municipality-6.

The deceased has been identified as Bishnu Maya, 30, of Machhapuchchhre-2, Kaski district.

According to Basanta Kunwar, chief of District Police Office, Nuwakot, Bishnu Maya had come to Laligurans Khajaghar hotel with Raj Lawata of Tokha Municipality -6 on Saturday evening. Lawata was apparently her ‘girlfriend’.

Lawata had informed the police after Bishnu Maya, who had gone to bed after taking evening meal, did not wake up until late in the morning.

Police have started investigation into the case after taking Lawata and the hotelier under control.
