Dharan audition of popular singing reality show Nepal Idol-2 has been completed. Around 1000 persons participated in the audition that was organized in Bishnu Memorial High School of Dharan. According to the organizer, the participants who were selected in pre-judge round of Saturday went to the judge round audition on Sunday.
Judge round was held at Hotel Easy Ride of Dharan-15. According to the project head of Nepal Idol, Suresh Poudel, youths from different districts of eastern Nepal including Siraha, Jhapa, Bhojpur, Dhankuta, and Sunsari participated in the audition. The audition started at 10am and ended at 5pm.
Last year, the audition was held in Biratnagar for the eastern part of Nepal. “As per our expectation, audition became successful,” said project head Poudel. Nhyoo Bajracharya, Indira Joshi, and Kali Prasad Baskota are the judges of the audition. Participants selected by these judges will only get chance to visit Kathmandu for next round.
Bhairahawa, Birjung, and Dhangadi audition of Nepal Idol has been completed and now organizers are planning to organize Pokhara audition on April 27.
The show will be broadcast twice a week on AP1 television from July 26.
