KATHMANDU, April 21: Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting scheduled for Friday has been postponed for Sunday.
The meeting was postponed after most of the central committee members were out of the Kathmandu Valley and were unable to come due to flight disruption at the Tribhuvan International Airport, said Chief Secretary of NC Party Office Krishna Prasad Paudel.
The next meeting has been called for April 22. The meeting that began from March 23 was put off on March 30 after the death of central committee member Khum Bahadur Khadka.
The TIA was closed for 13 hours since Thursday night after Malindo Air plane bound for Kuala Lumpur skidded off the runway during takeoff and got stuck on the ground close to the runway. The airport reopened only after the plane was towed to the hangar.
