400 house owners in Pokhara announce relief in house rent

POKHARA, July 2:  As many as 400 house owners have announced to provide relief in the house rent to business entrepreneurs.

POKHARA, July 2:  As many as 400 house owners have announced to provide relief in the house rent to business entrepreneurs. 


In the view of providing relief to entrepreneurs who are among the worst hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, the house owners decided to provide relief in house rent, according to Nepal Tenant Union. 


Kamal Prasad Neupane, president of the union said that the house owners were providing 50 to 100 percent relief in house rent.

The Union has also honored those house owners providing relief in house rent organizing an event marking the founding anniversary of the association on Thursday.  


The Union has been urging house owners to provide business persons and  entrepreneurs and families staying in rented rooms relief in house rent since the beginning of the lockdown enforced nationwide to curb the spread of COVID-19.
