40 wedding attendants injured in Bhaktapur bus accident

BHAKTAPUR, Aug 25: Some 40 persons were injured after the bus carrying wedding attendants veered off the road at Sudal Jitpur of the district on Thursday afternoon.
Among the injured, 25 are undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur Hospital and remaining others at Iwamura Memorial Hospital, Sallaghari and Madhyapur Hospital, Madhyapur Thimi.
Chief of Metropolitan Traffic Police Range, Sallaghari, Kamal Bawadal said that the details of the accident are awaited. According to him, the bus, Ba 4 Kha 1905, was heading to Koteshwor with wedding attendants.
