4 people die in tractor accident in Taplejung

TAPLEJUNG, Oct 19: Four people have died in a tractor accident in Maiwakhola Rural Municipality of Taplejung.

A tractor with the number plate Me 1 Ta 5655 met with an accident on its way to Maiwakhola Rural Municipality-5 from Tellabung village.

Pasang Sherpa, 31 of Kamsang, Maiwakhola Rural Municipality-5, his brother Phurba Sherpa, 24, 17-year-old Laki Sherpa, daughter of Pasang Chhetu Sherpa, resident of Maiwakhola Rural Municipality-4 and her sister 22-year-old Sharmila Sherpa died in the accident, said DSP Kailash Rai, Chief of District Police Office Taplejung. The police said that further details of the incident are being collected.
