4 including 2 Indian nat'ls held with narcotics

LAHAN, Aug 10: Police have arrested four people including two Indian nationals with 600 ampoules of narcotics along with syringes from Rajbiraj-4 in Saptari district on Monday.




The arrested are Sonu Kumar Pradhan, 21 and Rajesh Mahato, 35, of Supaul Kunauli-5, India, Rajesh Kumar Mahato and Pramod Kumar Sah, 32 of Saptari Sakarpura-5.

Acting on a tip-off that four people riding two motorcycles (one with Indian plate number and the other with Nepali plate number) are transporting a huge amount of illegal drugs hiding in their waists, a joint squad of police from zonal and district police offices nabbed them, informed DSP Naryan Chimoriya of District Police Office, Saptari.


They had hidden narcotics under their shirts tied up on their waists and in a hand-bag.

A case has been forwarded after having them charged under drug-related act.
