KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) has arrested four persons with nine hides of Red Panda from Budhanilkantha-14, Kapan on Wednesday.
Police said that the hides were kept at the room of one Jeevan Gurung with an intention of selling them at Rs 550,000 per piece.
The arrested are Sushil Rai, 23, of Udayapur, Muskan Thapa, 24, of Baglung, Jeevan Gurung, 26, of Budhanilkantha and Lal Bahadur Thing, 32, of Makwanpur.
They have been handed over to District Forest Office, Kathmandu for further action.
