KATHMANDU, April 12: Mahendranagar United has set a target of 143 runs for Kathmandu Goldens in the ongoing second Dhangadhi Premier League on Thursday.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Mahendranagar United notched up 142 runs losing nine wickeets in the alloted 20 overs.
Punit Mehra made highest 58 runs including four fours and four sixes off 42 balls for Mahendranagar. Aarif Sheikh made 43 runs including four fours and one six off 39 balls while Karan KC, Punit Bista contributed 21 and seven runs respectively.
Sunny Patel took highest six wickets for Kathmandu Goldens. Likewise, Puspa Thapa and Suboth Bhatia took one wicket each.
The winner of the game will take on Dhangadhi Team Chauraha on Friday.
