KATHMANDU, April 6: Kathmandu Goldens defeated Biratnagar Kings in a last ball thriller where Gyanendra Malla hit a six to seize the win by 5 wickets.

Gyanendra Malla scored 68 runs, hitting 6 sixes and 5 fours while Sunny Patel aggressively supported the win scoring 25 runs in 10 balls.

Biratnagar Kings had set a target of 165 runs for Katmandu Goldens in the second edition of Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL) at Seti Zone Police Cricket Ground, Dhangadhi on Friday.   

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Biratnagar Kings scored 164 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 over.

Babar Hayat smashed 67 runs in just 33 balls for his team while Dilip Nath contributed 33 runs.

This is Kathmandu Goldens' four straight win in the Dhangadi Premier League.
