Four among the five players are from the departmental team Armed Police Force, which failed to qualify for the National league, and one from Bauddha Club.[break]
The players transferred on loan from APF include national forward Ganesh Lawati, Santosh Shrestha, Arjun Subba and Niraj Shrestha while Ajit Bhandari is from Bauddha. Subba and Niraj Shrestha are midfielders and Bhandari is defender.
The players tied up with Sangam as per National League regulations which allow a team to field five players from the A division clubs that fail to qualify for the National League.
Only top eight teams of the Martyrs Memorial A Division League and two teams from A division district qualify for National League. APF had finished 12th while Bauddha had finished 11th in Martyrs league.
Meanwhile, Caravan Group has provided Sangam Rs 300,000 as the chief sponsor. Similarly, Kaski District Football Association has given Rs 51,000 and its President Khem Gurung has given Rs 10,000 from his personal fund.
Sahara Club has handed over Rs 25,000 and the club´s supporter Dudh Prasad Gurung and Buddi Bahadur Pariyar has give Rs 25,000 apiece.
Likewise, Binod Shrestha of Country Himalayan and Ex-bar Restaurant has given Rs 15,000 apiece while Laxin Bahadur Gurung and Sarit Gurung jointly handed the club Rs 30,000.
