SARLAHI, March 30: Former prime minister and senior leader of the ruling CPN-UML, Madhav Kumar Nepal on Thursday said that the government is preparing for organizing a conference in Province 2 aimed at exploring ideas on developing the province into a prosperous one.
Speaking at a press conference organized by Press Chautari Nepal, the former premier assured everyone of taking a lead in organizing such a conference with participation of development experts and other stakeholders concerned from all eight districts of the province. "The conference will give a way out for the development of Province 2 as a prosperous province," said former PM Nepal adding, "It will come up with ideas on how to address the problems related to education, health, agriculture, tourism and trade."
Nepal talked about strengthening the internal unity among Nepalis by expediting development works across the country and uplifting the living standard of people from all castes and communities.
Asked about the growing groupism in the party, Nepal dismissed the existence of factions in the party.
Meanwhile, Nepal awarded scholarships worth Rs 800,000 to 193 students of Chaturbhujeshwor Janata Multiple Campus.
