MAKWANPUR, March 28: Radha Ghale has been elected as chief whip of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party (PP) of Province 3. A parliamentary party meeting held at the party office in Hetauda on Wednesday took a decision to this effect.
Held on the chairmanship of Parliamentary Party leader Indra Bahadur Baniya, the meeting appointed Chhiring Lama as the party whip, Nima Lama as member secretary and Bijula Barma as the coordinator of disciplinary committee.
With these appointments, the parliamentary party committee of the NC Province 3 has got a full shape.
The meeting decided to pick Nhuchchhenarayan Shrestha as the chairman of the public account committee among the five thematic committees to be formed in the near future, said member secretary Nima Lama.
The meeting also expressed deep sorrow over the death of 49 people including 22 Nepalis in US-Bangla plane crash that took place on March 12 in Kathmandu, and asked the government to provide compensation to the victims’ families.
