The general assembly is likely to endorse a budget of Rs 100 million for 2069 BS, which is Rs 20 million more than that of last year. More than 200 delegates are expected to attend the general assembly.[break]
According to a document received from highly-placed ANFA sources, the proposed programs include three A Division men´s knockout tournaments between September 2012 and March 2013. Similarly, other top-level proposed football events include the Martyrs Memorial A Division League from April 22 to July 9 and the National League in November and December, and also two rounds of A Division district league.
ANFA has also included the President´s Cup to be held from May 2-13, 2012 and the qualifying stage matches of the AFC Challenge Cup from March 3-17, 2013 in its list of proposed programs.
South Asian Games (SAG) football is also included in the list. India is scheduled to host the upcoming SAG.
National football and league football are the only two programs to be proposed by ANFA in women´s football. Similarly, five programs including Coca Cola Inter-school National Football Tournament, AFC U-14 Festival of Football among others are proposed in youth football.
The list includes three programs for referees -- MA Elite Referee Course and one coaching program for male and female coaches.
Likewise, B and C division district football tournaments, Red Bull B and C division, and national B and C division are the other proposed tournaments.
Annual progress report, income and expenditure details of 2067/68, annual program for 2069 and expected budget for 2068/69 are the major agendas of the general assembly.
