KATHMANDU, Aug 14: A proposal seeking the Legislature-Parliament's approval to send the Judicial Council Bill-2073 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion was passed at today's Parliament meeting.
The proposal was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara on behalf of the Prime Minister, the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary.
Also on the occasion, Speaker Onsari Gharti read out a letter informing about the cabinet expansion sent by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Finance Committee Prakash Jwala tabled three bills at the meeting.
The bills include Audit (First Amendment), Employees Provident Fund (Ninth Amendment) and Nepal Rastra Bank (Second Amendment), 2071. RSS
