KATHMANDU, February 26: A corruption complaint has been filed at the Commission of the Investigation of Abuse of Authority against Dr Govinda KC. 

Dr KC has been accused of affecting health services at the government hospitals and interfering with the jurisdictions of other government agencies by staging a series of hunger strikes. Dr KC, who has been staging hunger strikes to reform the medical sector, has been accused of possessing conflicting dates of birth in his academic credentials and personnel records after joining the government services. Also, the complaint registered by Bipin Dhakal has accused Dr KC of acting to weaken the reputation of the judiciary and Chief Justice of the country. 

CIAA Spokesperson Padam Prasad Pandey said that the complaint was registered at the office. Asked about the possible move from the anti-graft body, Pandey said the CIAA will decide the matter later.
