HETAUDA, Feb 21: CMG Sankata Club has entered into the semifinals of the ongoing Hetauda Gold Cup Football Tournament beating Ruslan Three Star Club (TSC) 1-0 on Tuesday. At the Institute of Forestry in Hetauda, in the clash of two A-Division outfits, Karna Limbu’s goal seven minutes before the end of the match was enough for Sankata to grab the win. Limbu was named the man-of-the-match and was awarded Rs 5,000 in cash prize. With the win of Sankata, the semifinals lineup has now been completed. Sankata will now take on the departmental team Nepal Police Club (NPC) in the second semifinal match on Thursday, while the first semifinal will see Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi and the other departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) battle against each other for a final place.
