KATHMANDU Feb 10 : CPN-UMLleader Arjun Thapa has been elected as the Speaker for Provincial Parliament of  Province-7. He was eletcted PA member from Bhajhang. 

He was elected unopposed as no one filed candidacies for the post, said the Secretariat of Provincial Assembly-7. 

The PA meeting held on Feb 12 will officialy announce Thapa as the speaker of Provincial Assembly of Province-7. 

CPN (Maoist Center) lawmaker Dirga Sodari had proposed his name while Maoist Center lawmaker Trilochan Bhatta had seconded the proposal.
