KATHMANDU, March 14: Amid the fear of coronavirus outbreak in Nepal, another deadly disease dengue has been reported in several parts of the country.
According to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division, a total of 36 dengue patients have been reported around the nation as of March 13.
"Dengue has been reported in Nepal following the change in weather. 36 patients tested positive for dengue since this January in the hospitals where there is Early Warning and Reporting System," Division informed.
Following is the detail data of dengue patients on province and district basis :
Province 1: 6 (Jhapa-1, Morang-3 and Sunsari -2)
Bagmati Province: 9 (Nuwakot-1, Kathmandu-3, Lalitpur-3, Ramechhap-1, Makwanpur-1)
Gandaki Province: 5(Gorakha-1, Myagdi-1, Kaski-2, Nawalpur -1)
Province 5: 14 (Nawalparasi-1, Rupandehi-11, Kapilvasty-1, Banke-1)
Sudur Paschim Province: 2 (Dadeldhura-1, Kailali-1)
