Province 2 to hold election for speaker on Sunday

JANAKPURDHAM, Feb 3: Province 2 has set February 14 for the election of the Speaker of the provincial assembly.

An all party meeting of the assembly held at the Provincial Hall on Saturday decided to this end which will be endorsed by the first assembly of Province 2 on Sunday.

The all party meeting has formed a 13-member Business Advisory Committee. The BAC will hold a meeting at 8 am on February 12 and the second meeting of the Province will take place later in the day.

However, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal did not participate in the all party meeting since it was busy holding meeting in a bid to elect its Parliamentary Party leader.
