KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Sita Sundas has been elected the president of the Association of District Coordination Committee of Nepal (ADCCN).
ADCCN council meeting held at the City Hall in Kathmandu for two days unanimously elected a 25-member working committee under the chairmanship of Sundas. She is the chairperson of the District Coordination Committee, Syangja.
Similarly, Santaman Tamang has been elected the vice-president. Tamang is the chief of the District Coordination Committee, Nuwakot.
The Association of District Development Committee of Nepal has been renamed as ADCCN after the country adopted federal set-up. The Association will coordinate with the local level for the development of the district.
