Madhyapur Thimi Municipality seals under-construction building of TB hospital

 Madhyapur Thimi Municipality sealed the under-construction building of 300 bed Tuberculosis Hospital at Madhyapur Thimi-4. The Municipality stated that the building was being constructed without permission  as well as without getting the hospital building design passed from the municipality.

Ranipokhari to be constructed as per Malla-era architectural style

The reconstruction of the historic Ranipokhari in Kathmandu is to be done as per the architectural style and form prevalent during the time of king Pratap Malla in the medieval period. A joint meeting of the National Reconstruction Authority, Department of Archaeology and chaired by the mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Bidya Sundar Shakya, decided to carry out the reconstruction as per the Malla-era style and model.

Attackers storm Shiite cultural center in Kabul, 35 killed

Attackers stormed a Shiite Muslim cultural center in the Afghan capital Thursday, setting off multiple bombs and killing at least 35 people and wounding at least 56, authorities said. Witnesses reported at least one suicide bomber sneaked into the event and was sitting among the participants. He exploded his device and as people fled more explosions occurred.
