KATHMANDU, Dec 20: Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) has permitted NIC ASIA Bank Limited to issue 3 million units of NIC Asia Debenture 2081/82 worth Rs 3 billion. The debenture will have face value of Rs 1,000. The bank has appointed Nabil Investment Banking Limited as the issue manager. According to a statement issued by the bank on Tuesday, 80 percent of the debenture will be set aside for private placement, while 20 percent will be issued to general public. Annual interest rate of the debenture will be nine percent and the bank will pay interest twice a year, the statement added.
