You can vote without voting ID cards

Registered voters who are awaiting their Voter ID cards can cast their votes by furnishing their government ID cards, passports, citizenships and license ID cards. Voters who have lost their voter ID cards can also use other government ID cards for tomorrow’s election, a statement issued by the Election Commission said. 

Defense Minister assures full polls security

Defense Minister Bhimsen Das Pradhan has assured of full polls security and urged the people to take part in the tomorrow's elections confidently. A total of 64,000 NA personnel have been mobilized for the second phase of elections and they are authorized to fire if necessary, urging one and all not to indulge in untoward activities. 

Warnings intensify as Trump readies Jerusalem declaration

America’s friends and foes unleashed fierce criticism on Wednesday ahead of President Donald Trump’s announcement recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. While Israel welcomed the news, Palestinian officials declared the Mideast peace process “finished” and Turkey announced it would host a meeting of Islamic nations next week to give Muslim countries’ leaders an opportunity to coordinate a response.
