32 treatment units set up for quake victims

KATHMANDU, May 1: As many as 32 medical teams comprising national and international doctors have been mobilized at different earthquake affected areas, authorities said.

Similarly, 20 million rupees from the Prime Minister Disaster Fund and 13 million rupees from the government has been released to manage the necessary medicines and other equipments required for the treatment of the victims at different health institutions.


The health institutions are Civil Hospital, Bir Hospital, Trauma Centre, Bhaktapur Hospital, Maharajgunj Teaching Hospital, Patan Hospital, Western Regional Hospital, Bharatpur Hospital, and Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Dhading, Sindhupalchwok, Gorkha and Kathmandu District Hospitals as well.

Similarly, such services are managed at the District Public Health Offices Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchowk, Ramechhap, Makawanpur, Dolakha and the Birendra Police Hospital, Birendra Army Hospital, Armed Police Force Hospital and Health Service Department, it is learnt. RSS
