RATNANAGAR,CHITWAN, Nov 11: Traffic will be barred along Narayangadh-Muglin road section in Chitwan for seven hours today as part of clearing the rock that poses a risk, said the Narayangadh-Muglin road project.
Work to remove the rock at Setidobhan will begin from 10 am to 5 pm, said the project engineer Shiva Prasad Khanal, while urging vehicles to use an alternative route temporarily. The road will be open for one-way traffic from Sunday, he said.
Work to cut the wall of cliffs will begin from Sunday at alternate timeline (from 7 am to 8:30 am, 11 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 2 pm, and 3 pm to 4 pm), said Inspector Santosh Panta.
Around 700 meters wall of the cliffs remains to be cut. Started two years ago, only 58 percent of the road widening project has completed so far despite extending the project deadline many times.(RSS)
