KATHMANDU, Nov 5: : MetLife Insurance has said that its unique virtual reality solution, known as conVRse, has won the 'Innovation of the Year' award in Asia Insurance Industry Award 2017.

Issuing a statement on Sunday, MetLife said that conVRse is the first-of-its-kind experiential Virtual Reality (VR) customer service platform designed to revolutionize interaction between insurers and customers was developed by Lumen Lab -- MetLife's innovation center in Asia -- and PNB MetLife, its joint venture in India.

The statement further added that conVRse has also won 'Best Technology Initiative of The Year Award'  in the Virtual Reality category in The National Awards for Excellence in Insurance 2017 at the prestigious BFSI Digital Innovation Award hosted by Indian Express Group, and also the 'Best Technology Innovation 2017 award at the Fintelekt Insurance Award.
