ITAHARI, July 30: Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai has said that the departure of the incumbent government was due to the foul play of some seen and unseen forces entering from the back door in Nepali politics.

Speaking in an interaction organized by the CPN (UML) Itahari Sub Metropolitan City Committee here today, Minister Rai claimed that the new government to be formed under the premiership of Pushpa Kamal Dahal will also face the same labyrinth.

He remembered that the forces inimical from the popularity of the then Manmohan Adhikari-led government and the incumbent government led by KP Sharma Oli, conspired to topple the government.

The Minister stated that the incumbent government maintained the national sovereignty and independency, taking it to a new height.

Minister Rai said, "We should wait for some time to evaluate the performance and formation process of the new government." He added that the countdown of the government may begin soon as the forces before forming the government were spreading the rumor that the Bara-Kathmandu Fast Track would be given to Indian company and not following the latest Sino-Nepal agreements signed by the incumbent government for implementation.

Due to such anti-nationalist activities, the next government's days are also already numbered, he said. RSS
