DAILEKH, August 13: Three persons belonging to the same family were killed on Saturday as the house they were living in was swept away by the landslide caused by the continuous downpour at Gurvakot of Surkhet.
The incident took place at Sindukhola village situated in Badakholi of Gurvakot Municipality-6.
The deceased have been identified as Guman Singh Budha, 83, a local of Gurvakot-6, his grandsons Bikram Budha, 14 , and Saran Budha.
The police had dug out their bodies buried in the ground on Sunday morning.
The landslide had swept away their house house at 12 pm on Saturday night, according to Area Police Office, Chhinchule.
