KANCHANPUR, Feb 3: The 2nd Indo-Nepal Trade Fair and Tourism Festival has begun from Friday in Dehradun of Uttarakhand, India. The fair is organised by the Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) with the help of Ministry of Commerce and Trade and Export Promotion Centre, and promoted by the Nepal Tourism Board, the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi, India.
The expo that will run until February 8 has more than 50 stalls featuring various food items, handicrafts, medicinal herbs, agricultural products that showcase identity of both Nepal and India, said senior President of the CCI, Kanchanpur Janga Bahadur Malla.

Inaugurating the fair, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Tribendra Singh Raut said Uttarakhand was ready to establish trade and tourist relations between the two countries.
Likewise, the FNCCI President Bhawani Rana said such fair would help Nepali products get market.
Also, Minister of State of Commerce of India Nar Bahadur Chand believed that the festival would benefit both India and Nepal.(RSS)
