KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Pakistan's leg-spinner Shadab Khan went on to break Nepal national player Sompal Kami's almost three years old record in the second T20 international played at Abu Dhabi, UAE. At the age of 19 years and 23 days, Shadab Khan became the youngest cricketer to score the winning runs in a T20I game.

The Gulmi Express was 19 years and 151 days old when he scored two boundaries in two deliveries and remained not out to seal the consolation win for Nepal. The premier fast bowler scored the winning runs against Netherlands in the 4th T20I of the bi-lateral series which the host team won 3-1 in 2015.

Pakistan won and wrapped up the series with a thrilling win in the second game of the three-match series chasing down the target with just one ball to spare. Pakistan didn't have best of the chase and it came down to eight runs off the last three balls. That is when Shadab Khan, the leg-spinner who can bat, struck a six to ease down the equation and eventually hit the winning runs to seal the match for Pakistan.
