KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) has condemned murder of Federation of Contractor Associations of Nepal (FCAN) President Sharad Kumar Gauchan. Releasing a statement on Thursday, he association said that it was saddened by the murder in the capital city in broad daylight by an unidentified group. The umbrella organization of hoteliers also said in its statement that the killing of Gauchan has unleashed terror among industrialists and business persons. “The private sector which pays the highest tax and revenue to the government has felt insecure,” HAN said in the statement, urging the government to become serious toward safety and security of people. It has also demanded the government to identify the perpetrators and take strong action against them.
