Girls rescued from India

RATNANAGAR, Oct 7: KI Nepal, an NGO working against human trafficking has rescued four children from India. 

A girl of around 18 years old of Chitwan was rescued from a brothel in Delhi, India, according to KI Nepal Chitwan coordinator Kemika Ghimire. She will be brought to Chitwan today in coordination with the Embassy of Nepal in Delhi. 

Likewise, three girls were rescued from another brothel in Mumbai of India. Their address in Nepal is not yet known and are presently under the shelter of an NGO in Mumbai. 

KI Nepal has been also maintaining vigil at the transit points to stop human trafficking, and in the past one year 60 people were prevented from being trafficked through various transit points with India, Ghimire said.(RSS)
