Maoist rival factions clash in Bhaktapur

Bhaktapur, March 28: At least three persons were injured when two rival factions of the Maoist trade union clashed in Bhaktapur on Monday.



Among those injured two are from the faction lead by Saligram Jammakattel and two are from the faction lead by Badri Bajgain. Jammakattel is close to party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Bajgain is close to senior Vice - chairman Mohan Baidya.[break]



Injured Sundar Shrestha from Jammakattel faction is receiving treatment at Bhaktapur hospital, while Raj kumar Timilsina and Devraj Gurung from Bajgain faction are receiving treatment in Iwamura hospital in the same district.



Both factions claimed that they were attacked by the rival faction all of a sudden.
