Two girls awarded the Malvika Subba Scholarship

KATHMANDU, August 18: Former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba and Lumbini Academic Collage (LAC) Chabhil, Chuchepati has announced the recipients of the Malvika Subba Scholarship on Thursday. The scholarship has been awarded to two indigent and diligent girls studying in grade 11 at LAC. 

Pasang Kanchhi Sherpa of Namche Bazaar, Solukhumbu and Tili Maya Darji of Okhaldhunga were awarded the full-fee scholarship. College Principal Rabin Chandra Koirala said that both of them have been awarded the scholarship considering their poor financial status. The scholarship will pay for their two-year tuition fees. 

“I wish to see both recipients of the Malvika Subba Scholorship contributing towards the development of our society and nation in the days ahead” said former Miss Nepal Subba. “If that happens, it would be a great satisfaction for us” she shared.
 
Pasang is studying business studies and the cost for her two years course is Rs 54,200. Similarly Tili Maya is studying hotel management and the cost for her two years course is Rs 69,000.
