KATHMANDU, July 23: The coalition partner in the incumbent government the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) on Saturday withdrew its support to the government.

Earlier, on July 13, the main coalition partner CPN (Maoist Centre) had withdrawn its support to the government reducing it to a minority.

A meeting held in party's central office in Chabahil under the chairmanship of senior leader Pashupati Shamsher Rana took this decision and called the two ministers—Dipak Bohora and Jayanta Chand back from the government, said party joint spokesperson Kiran Giri.

Bohara was looking after the ministry of Labor and Supplies while Chand was Minister for Commerce.

Meanwhile, the meeting also directed parliamentary party, as per party statute, to vote in favor of no-confidence motion filed against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
