KATHMANDU, July 13: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has stressed on unity among all Nepali citizens for the protection of all languages, literature and culture existing in the country.
Addressing a special program organized here today by the Bhanu Foundation in commemoration of the 204th Bhanu Jayanti, the birth anniversary of poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya, the Prime Minister said Bhanu's contribution to the promotion of Nepali literature and language was incomparable. The role of language and literature is always crucial for the prosperity of the nation, PM Deuba noted.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the Adikavi by garlanding his statute. Prior to the program, a morning procession was held as honor to the country's pioneering poet. RSS
