Three leaders visiting UK

KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Maoist Chairman Narayankaji Shrestha, Nepali Congress General Secretary Prakash Man Singh and CPN-UML leader Bishnu Prasad Poudel will visit the UK at the invitation of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, starting Sunday.



During their five-day visit, the leaders will meet Alistair Burt, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office responsible for South Asia, and Alan Duncan, Minister of State for International Development among others.[break]



"The purpose of the visit is to provide an opportunity for the three senior leaders to discuss Nepal´s peace process and other relevant issues with British leaders and also to expose them to the UK´s federal governance structures," said a statement from the UK.
