BIRATNAGAR, Jul y 5: Nepali Congress has clinched victory in Urlabari Municipality in the Morang district.

NC candidate Khadga Bahadur Phago has been elected as the mayor of Urlabari Municipality. Phago secured 11, 632 votes while his closest rival of CPN-UML Bhupal Jimi got 8, 542 votes.

Similarly, UML candidate Laxmi Devi Bhandari has been elected as deputy mayor of the municipality with 9, 539 while her closest rival of NC Sita Karki got 9280 votes.
