KATHMANDU, April 14: The 22nd Wildlife Week has commenced from today under the theme – Youth Initiative: Ensuring Conservation and Prosperity.
The Wildlife Week is observed across the country every year under the aegis of the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation.

Assistant Conservation Education Officer at the Department, Bhoj Raj Pantha said programmes as exhibition of banners on hoarding boards, bird watching, secondary school level art competition, documentary show on wildlife themes, have been planned to mark the Wildlife Week.
Likewise, an interaction programme on the implementation of CITIES and a round-table discussion wildlife protection will be held as part of the celebration of the Wildlife Week, Pantha said. The programmes will be run until April 20 from today. RSS
