KATHMANDU, July 18: An event called ' differently abled idol-2016' is to be organized for the first time in the country with a view to promoting talents of differently abled.

Abha Group is organizing the event on coming September 11. Interested people with various sorts of physical disabilities can apply for the participation and only shortlisted candidates will get an opportunity to show their talents through the means of dancing, singing, acting or other means of arts.

Application form is available across the country from today. Audition rounds will take place only in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur this time and they will be expanded to nationwide from next time, event coordinator Chitra Poudel said.

Candidates securing place in the top 20 will get an opportunity to participate in talent shows of national and international-level. The top three candidates will go home with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 each. RSS
