214 teachers made liable to fine totaling Rs 5,000 in Nawalparasi

PARASI, Aug 2: As many as 214 teachers from Nawalparasi who did not submit their property details within the deadline have been made liable to a fine as a punishment.

PARASI, Aug 2: As many as 214 teachers from Nawalparasi who did not submit their property details within the deadline have been made liable to a fine as a punishment.


According to the Education Development and Coordination Unit Office in Nawalparasi(West), each of the teachers who did not submit their property details for the fiscal year 2018/19 has been directed to pay a fine totaling Rs 5,000.

Dolarj Pandey, chief of the Education Development and Coordination Unit, said there is a legal provision that requires teachers to submit the property details within six days after the beginning of new fiscal year.


He said that the office had already verified the list obtained from the ministry  and directed those teachers who have not submitted their property details to fill in the detailed form and pay fines immediately.


Permanent teachers working in community schools are legally required to submit property details to School Teacher Record Office and temporary teachers to the education section within the local governing body.
