BHAKTAPUR, June 3: CPN (UML) Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday said the decision of the Election Commission calling a re-poll in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-19 was not acceptable to his party, claiming that the decision was taken under the pressure from the government.
He also urged for the resumption of the vote count for the Metropolis that has been halted following the reports of the findings of torn ballot papers with votes during the vote count.
The UML chief also said his party was ready to fight any type of injustice done to the UML allegedly by the ruling parties.
Oli was speaking at a reception organised by UML Bhaktapur district committee to congratulate people's representatives elected from the election from UML's quotas.
In a different context, he expressed ignorance about the nomination filed for the election of new Prime Minister, claiming that the nomination process was pushed from outside without informing Parliament. RSS
